Our boarding life in Ecole des Roches

 

Our main campus is composed of 6 boarding houses, in which girls or boys are divided according to their age and class. These houses are based on the model of traditional English private schools and are both a safe home for children and a place to learn to live in community.

From 6 to 18 years old, our students come from all over the world. This is why we offer different boarding options:
- 5-day boarding school: the student goes back home on weekends
- 6-day boarding school: the student goes back home every 2 weekends
- 7-day or permanent boarding school: the student stays at the boarding school every weekend.

Week-ends

Students staying at the boarding school on weekends benefit from an arranged timetable.
Entertaining and/or cultural outings are organised every 2 weeks, off campus, adapted to young and old alike: visit of the Parc des Princes, accrobranche, Disneyland, Parc Astérix, shows, shopping...

During the other weekends, the students have some time in town, in Verneuil d'Avre and Iton or nearby, to go shopping, under the responsibility of House Masters for the youngest.

 

Study periods

Every evening and on weekends, students must go to their boarding house for supervised study period. It's time to do homework and review lessons. Teachers come by from time to time to help the students and House Masters are also present to provide support to our learners.
