The International Baccalaureate at École des Roches offers an academic education that stimulates and challenges. We ensure that every child can flourish.

Students live in a safe family environment as part of a close-knit IB community. The high staff to student ratio ensures individual attention, while form tutors have regular contact with parents to discuss their children’s personal well-being and academic progress.

The new IB Common Room gives our students their own working space where they can study independently or in teams, with supportive IBDP staff always present to assist where needed.

 

The student-oriented lessons focus on skills-based learning – an approach that universities and employers look for. Students are encouraged to become responsible and independent learners. The teachers in the IB team are experienced subject specialists and include IB examiners and IB school inspectors.

The school offers all students regular tailored IB revision camps to prepare for exams.

At the end of the IB Diploma Programme our IB students are well prepared for the university course of their choice. There is targeted guidance for applications to read medicine and sit the UCAT and BMAT exams, LNAT preparation for LAW, SAT practice and Oxbridge TSA preparation.

For those new to IB, we also offer a one-year Preparatory Programme that enables students to ready themselves for the requirements of the two-year IB Diploma.
